A school principal in England has been forced to resign after a lamb her students had reared was sent off to be made into lamb chops.
The exercise, late last year, was designed to teach children about where their food comes from, but some parents were outraged at the idea Marcus might end up in one of their kebabs.
Apparently it's fine for children to eat a lamb as long as it doesn't have a name.
A long campaign calling for the principal to get the chop finally succeeded last week.
The irony is the school was in Romney Marsh - birthplace of the very same breed - which has kept the country in Sunday roasts for generations.
