NO doubt Murray Goulburn's recent attempts to take over Warrnambool Cheese and Butter were still playing on the mind of WCB's chairman Frank Davis at the Sungold Field Day lunch on Friday.
Frank acknowledged the presence if his rival among the guests - Murray Goulburn chairman Grant Davies.
"Welcome Grant. Grant is the chairman of Warrnambool Cheese and Butter," sending a chuckle through the crowd before realising his Freudian slip and hastily correcting himself.
