AFTER 90 years of Beggs family ownership, Buln Gherin at Beaufort, has sold.

The 1093ha productive cropping and grazing operation in the Western District was sold for an undisclosed figure but was expected to fetch about $6000/ha.

The property was sold by Charles Stewart & Co, Colac.

New Charles Stewart offices

CHARLES Stewart & Co, Colac has opened a new office at 94 Whyte St, Coleraine. A third Charles Stewart office will also be opened at 134 Fairy St, Warrnambool next month.

Echuca land sells

TWENTY hectares of land at Echuca was sold at auction at the weekend. The versatile property was sold for $750,000 at Friday's auction, which selling agent Wayne Eeles said was a good result.
