LEGENDARY singer John Farnham's former property, Chance Lodge, is set to take on a new name - Oki Doki Park.

The Farnhams sold their 107ha Goornong property, on which they had run their quarter horse stud for more than a decade, in November.

Belgium-born Azdin Ben Moussa purchased the property and moved in last week.

Oki Doki Park will use the property's equine facilities but Mr Moussa will move from quarter horses to thoroughbreds.

Mr Moussa began working with horses at the age of eight and said he was excited about putting his mark on such a famous property.

"(Growing up in Belgium) I lived 10 minutes away from the equestrian centre," Mr Moussa said.

"I touched a horse when I was young and that was it. I haven't been able to stop.

"The facilities attracted me to this property. It's got good facilities and a good position so close to Bendigo and not far from Nagambie."

Mr Moussa said he would offer breaking, education and pre-training services.

Farnham has relocated to his other property on the corner of Bendigo-Murchison Rd and Midland Hwy, Goornong.
