HERE'S a great recipe for fruit salad and custard slice, sent in by Matilda Kent of Dalyston.

FRUIT SALAD AND CUSTARD SLICE

  • 825g can tropical fruit salad
  • 170g can passionfruit
  • 1/3 cup custard powder

Combine tropical fruit salad and passionfruit with custard powder.

Stir over low heat until thickened. Cook for 2 minutes. Line a 20cm square tin with foil and cover base with biscuits.

Pour the fruit mixture over and chill until set. Cut into squares and serve with a dollop of whipped cream or cut into fingers for afternoon tea.
