Tractor death

WORKSAFE Victoria is investigating the death of a man aged in his 20s after a tractor rollover in Victoria's North East on Sunday.

According to Worksafe, the man was moving bee hives at Bruarong, south of Yackandandah.

UK group John Swire and Co last week announced it would sell the company, which owns 13 rural properties in NSW and Queensland.

THE Victorian Government has completed its $107.4 million upgrade of all gold and silver freight lines in time to carry the bulk of this year's grain exports.

Victorian Transport Minister Martin Pakula said the Mildura Rail Freight Upgrade has been completed along with upgrades to all silver freight lines, including Ouyen to Murrayville, Quambatook to Manangatang, Charlton to Sea Lake and Warracknabeal to Hopetoun.
