THE iconic Carrathool Races in the western Riverina have been washed out for the second time in a month.
The races were originally scheduled for last month, but postponed until today because of heavy rain.However, isolated storms of up to 50mm yesterday forced organisers to abandon plans for this year's meeting.
The Carrathool Jockey Club was established in 1883.
