THE secrets of a healthy soil will be unveiled at an East Gippsland Landcare workshop in Bairnsdale next Friday, March 12.

Former CSIRO soil scientist Maarten Stapper will speak on harnessing the power of natural soil processes and improving the use of inputs to develop a healthy soil.

Participants are asked to bring two plant samples for analysis.

The sample should come with soil in buckets and dug up from the same paddock, one a good plant sample and the other a poor sample.
