GRAPES were stomped, boots were thrown and strawberries munched at the annual Bacchus Marsh Harvest Festival on Sunday.
Visitors could try their hand - or feet - at making wine the way they did in yesteryear, by stomping grapes in a barrel.

Others tried the more sedate activities of touring farms and meeting fruit and vegetable growers.
One of the organisers, Allan Comrie, said "a few thousand" people attended the festival, now in its third year.
He said while there was plenty of rain on Saturday, the festival escaped the storms on Sunday.
"The sun was shining all day," Mr Comrie said.
