FUTURE leadership by women in the dairy industry will be focus of a forum in Melbourne this month.

Genetics Australia and the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries will sponsor the National Women in Dairy Forum, at the RACV Club in Bourke St on March 24.

Speakers include Dr Sally Shortall, from Ireland's Dublin University and Robyn Moore.

SOUTH-East Asian countries are to get a taste of Australian dairy farming and its products, in a bid to boost our $2.5 billion export market.

Dairy Australia will run seminars over 14 days in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Manila, Bangkok and Jakarta.
