WITH the recent release of its factory-backed compressed natural gas (CNG) range, Isuzu Trucks has led the way in "green" thinking.

Ideal for metropolitan back-to-base parcel delivery applications, the NLR 200 CNG, NPR 300 CNG and dual-rated FSR 700/850 CNG models offer significantly reduced gaseous exhaust emissions compared with diesel variants.

All use multi-point injection engines: the NLR 200 CNG and NPR 300 models are naturally aspirated, while the larger FSR 700/850 is also turbocharged.

Several leading national fleets are currently testing Isuzu CNG technology.

Another recent addition is the NLS 200 all-wheel-drive.

An entry-level model to Isuzu's off-road line-up, it is a versatile light truck that performs well both on and off the road.
