A MT Gambier miniature horse stud owner has offered a $5000 reward to find the person responsible for shooting her miniature stallion, Kintaro Lodge Talisman.
The champion miniature stallion was found on Saturday, March 8 on the property on the outskirts of Mt Gambier.
Police believe the horse was shot at close range.
The eight-year-old stallion was the winner of the Victorian Hi-Point award for three-year-old colts in 2003-04.
The Appaloosa-coloured horse is a tragic loss for its owners.
