VICTORIA is home to more mature-aged first homebuyers than any other state in Australia, according to a Mortgage Choice Survey.
The 2010 Mortgage Choice First Homebuyers Survey found that 63 per cent of respondents to the independent online survey, all of whom were looking to buy their first home in the next two years, were aged 30 years or more.
The survey follows the release of the Victorian Property Sales Report earlier this month which indicated house and unit prices had increased in regional Victoria.
