A NEW online tool has been released to give farmers access to pasture varieties best suited to their region.
Pasture Picker brings support information directly to farm offices, according to Grains Research and Development Corporation project manager Tanya Robinson.
"The tool filters content based on end use, soil type and environment. Fact sheets are available on each of the pasture choices," Ms Robinson said.
Pasture Picker was developed by CSIRO and the University of Queensland with input from pasture agronomists around Australia.
