SUZUKI has made several significant upgrades to its mid-range quad bike, the KingQuad 400.

Top of the upgrade list is the addition of fuel injection which is already featured in the KingQuad's more powerful stablemates, the 750cc and 500cc models.

The new fuel-injection system provides for smoother and more responsive power throughout the engine rev range, according to Suzuki.

Suzuki has also revised its 376cc, four-stroke, four-valve engine with new cam shaft profiles for more power and a re-designed exhaust system for better efficiency and overall performance.

Another upgrade on this year's KingQuad 400 is an easy-to-read LCD digital dashboard display with a speedometer, odometer, trip meter, hour meter, clock and fuel gauge. LED indicators are used to identify engine oil temperature and neutral and reverse gear positions.

The KingQuad 400 offers a choice of transmissions; a fully-automatic, continuously variable transmission is available on the 400ASi model, while a manual five-speed transmission is available on the KingQuad 400FSi 4x4 and the KingQuad 400FSi 2x4.
