GEELONG company BA Group Australia will exhibit at Agfest for the first time next month.

Regional manager Daniel Peacock said Agfest was, without doubt, one of the best field days in Australia.

"Next month will be the first time BA Group has been at Agfest as an exhibitor, but I have attended many times and it's always a great event," Daniel said.

"There are always lots of people there and it's extremely well organised.

"It's a great way to get product in front of people, as pretty much everyone goes there."

BA Group will display a range of trailed and linkage sprayers at Agfest, including a new 200-litre unit which can be towed by a quad bike.

Daniel said the quad-bike sprayer had proved popular already at several field days in Victoria over the past couple of months.

"We sold quite a few at Horsham and Farm World," Daniel said.

The 200-litre sprayer is mounted on a galvanised chassis for a long working life and can be fitted with a variety of boom options, from 2m to 4.5m in width.

Standard on the sprayer is a 15m hand hose reel and a 12-volt-powered Shurflo pump with a flow capacity up to 11.3 litres a minute.

Daniel said the Shurflo pumps were widely used throughout the spraying industry in Australia.

"The Shurflos are a reliable and well-tested pump," he said.

Other standard equipment includes a TeeJet suction filter, TeeJet nozzles and a 50mm tow ball coupling on the drawbar.

"It's a well-made, simple design which is ideal for lifestyle farmers or small block owners," Daniel said.

BA Group Australia also makes linkage sprayers with boom widths to 15m and tank capacities to 1000 litres.
