CATH and Peter Nolan travelled around Australia for five years before building their dream home on Mt Emu Creek at Panmure, near Warrnambool.
They built the large five-bedroom home to take in the impressive views of the area and have enjoyed their time at the property.

Cath said a desire for warmer weather and a move north was the only reason they were selling.
The architecturally-designed property offers an amazing lifestyle, with almost every room in the house featuring a water view.
"We wanted to be able to look out at the views and so most of the rooms in the house look out at the creek," Cath said.
"It's nice and secluded and we don't have any real neighbours.
"It's just a beautiful lifestyle."
The interior of the home is decorated with natural materials, such as timber, iron, ceramic, brick and stone.
The house features an open-plan kitchen, living and dining area, a study and a mixture of polished floor boards and luxurious carpet.
It also has a second living room, currently used as a children's area, and a huge triple-bay garage, which adjoins the house.
Cath said Ngoombi was an Aboriginal phrase meaning "where the platypus live", named because of the abundance of wildlife.
"We see platypus almost every day and we get echidnas too," Cath said.
"It's quite amazing. There is heaps of birdlife along the creek too."
The property is a 15-minute drive from Warrnambool and under three hours from Melbourne via the Princes Highway.
