VINTAGE caravans will be a special feature at the 95th Steam and Vintage Rally at Lake Goldsmith on May 1-2.
And organisers are hoping for a record-breaking turn-out: they need just 36 vans to show up to break the Australian record for the most vintage caravans to attend a rally.
Other attractions on the day will include steam and oil engines, a giant steam shovel in action, a steam-fired powerhouse, blacksmith, Furphy tank rebarrelling, tractors, motorcycles, cars and trucks.
There will be a grand parade at 2.15pm daily, sheep shearing, wood bending, steam ploughing, chaff cutting, threshing and straw baling.
Adult entry costs $10, with children under 16 free. Gates open at 10am both days.
