YOUR page is the first one I look at each Wednesday when I pick up The Weekly Times and I see climate change is the subject of many letters to you.

Consumption of coal-fired electricity and animal protein appear to be some of the main culprits.

Many of us want to know what more we can do in our daily lives to reduce our carbon footprints.

It would make sense if in each state, for one day of each week, we fed our families a vegetarian dinner and imposed a 9pm lights out curfew. 

Perhaps in this way we could collectively make a positive impact?

Why sit waiting for outcomes of government policies?

I know women can move mountains.

We've done it before.
