Calstock consists of 80.9ha of quality basalt land and is well located near Deloraine.
The house, a Georgian-style mansion built in 1853, has six fully furnished bedrooms.
It has a commercial kitchen and there are manager's quarters and staff accommodation.
The property has been extensively and sensitively restored and its is in impressive condition, says selling agent John Hewitt.
"It's just an absolutely prestigious property," he said.
"It's got large elegant rooms, a historic atmosphere and it's tastefully furnished.
"I suppose it gives you a bit of an insight into it's past too."
Calstock was originally the home of the Field family who are known to be one of Tasmania's earliest and largest land holders.
The Fields were also involved in race horse breeding.
Calstock is about 40 minutes' drive from Launceston and Davenport.
John said Calstock would be ideal for continued use as a boutique hotel, for a return to racehorse breeding, or as an executive residence.
