DON'T quote us, but Back Paddock is pretty sure high heels, short shorts and midriff-baring tops are not ideal safety clothing for your average farm.
But this is is what your young female farmer in Germany gets around in these days.
At least, that's what the local young farmer organisation would like people to think.
These young women (above) are posing for the latest Young Farmers' Calendar, something of an institution in Germany since it was first published a few years ago in a bid to improve the staid image of farmers and convince young Germans to take up agriculture as a career.
Getting selected for the calendar can be quite a feather in a young farmer's cap, which explains why more than 250 women applied to be in it. So forget modelling or acting as a glamour career choice and get down to the farm.
