Mike Becker designed and manages the property, which is known in the area as Independent Stallions.
Mike designed the farm after visiting a range of equine studs in Australia and overseas while working in the thoroughbred industry.
"Because it was basically a blank canvas we didn't have to compromise on design or work around existing buildings and infrastructure so it was easy to design from that point of view," Mike said.
"We're in the heart land of the thoroughbred industry in Victoria and we've got greater access to a bigger number of brood mares and client bases so it's also very good in that sense."
The property boasts outstanding post and rail fencing and facilities include an impressive stallion barn with seven stables plus an adjoining office, conference room, kitchen and bathroom and a second lot of separate stables with 11 boxes, tack room, feed room, loading facilities, central breezeway and concrete floor.
There are nine foaling yards with overhead lighting, two additional holding yards, seven stallion paddocks and 11 horse paddocks with separate laneway systems.
Doomba also boasts a serving barn and a steel feed room and machinery shed with separate truck, float and loading facilities.
Mike said the layout and facilities of the property were designed to make management easy.
"The workload during the breeding season is very intense and it doesn't lessen the workload it just hopefully makes it more efficient in what you can do in a given day," he said.
The property has frontage to an anabranch of the Goulburn River and an electric pump provides water from the anabranch to water troughs in all paddocks.
There is a three-bedroom weatherboard home on the property with a large lounge room, kitchen and bathroom.
There are also two self-contained workers' units and a lunch room.
