FORMER AFL Demon and Myrtleford local Guy Rigoni will share his success story at the Dederang-Mt Beauty Football Club tonight.
Rigoni will talk to seniors, juniors and club members about playing footy in Myrtleford, overcoming injuries and how country sportsmen can be motivated to succeed.
Drafted by the Demons as the last pick in 1997, Rigoni played 107 games for Melbourne before retiring in 2005.
He was named best first-year player in 1998, best clubman in 1994 and was recognised in 2008 as one of the Demons 150 Heroes.
Tomorrow's event will begin with a barbecue at 6pm and all members of the community are invited to attend.
