FOR Springbank Football Club, the 2000 premiership was a win well worth celebrating.
And that's what the club intends to do when it reunites its premiership teams of 1990 and 2000 this weekend.
It has been 10 years since the Tigers became the first club in the Central Highlands league to come from fifth on the ladder to win a premiership flag.
The Tigers clawed their way to the 2000 victory by winning each finals match by almost 10 goals.
Their finals journey was aided by the presence of AFL recruits Andrew Tranquilli (Collingwood), Sean Simpson (Geelong, St Kilda) and Jamie Lamb (Geelong, St Kilda).
The reunion will also celebrate the 20th anniversary of the 1990 premiership.
Celebrations begin on Saturday at the Tigers' home game against Dunnstown with a past players' reunion.
After the match, the party will continue at the Wallace Hotel with a supper, speeches and reminiscing from those two big premiership occasions.
