BLACKWOOD pony Stud's Blackwood Park Brigadier was judged champion Australian pony and supreme champion at the Australian Pony Stud Book's Annual Foal show.
The event was held at the National Equestrian Centre at Werribee Park last month.
Carly Thomas' colt foal Careal Distinction won his class and the championship for colts and Kylie Dooley's Cleoranee Painted Angel took the title for Shetland fillies and Sharyn Callander showed the champion Connemara Gracefield Park Mr Ed and it was good to see a Dartmoor pony on show, Charmaine Redford's Moorelanda Mayhem.
Lisa O'Neill showed the champion third generation Australian pony, Mallawa Park sh'Boom.
Sire of the year award at the foal show went to Fairlight Acres Kassa.
