NEW Holland has celebrated a recent string of international awards by launching two limited-edition models.
Glistening with some of New Holland's latest technology and an exclusive blue metallic paint job, the new tractors have been dubbed Blue Power editions.
It's hard to miss the Blue Power T7070 Auto Command and T7060 Power Command tractors thanks to their striking finish.
The unique paint work, which can be accented with silver and chrome touches, is courtesy of New Holland's heritage.
Early in the 1990s, Ford New Holland was purchased by the Fiat Group, which also owns prestige car brand Maserati.
It's a Maserati blue which adorns the Blue Power tractors.
Another Maserati-bred feature in the tractors is "skyhook" active suspension which on the Blue Power tractors is used to keep cabin vibration to a minimum.
The suspension system utilises sensors which provide data to an electronic controller which in turn adjusts gas dampers on the go.
Further luxury can be found on the Blue Power tractors with the availability of a leather seat.
The T7070 and T7060 can also be equipped with New Holland's latest generation SideWinder II armrest and IntelliView screen in the cab.
Both tractors are IntelliSteer auto guidance ready.
The SideWinder II armrest was first seen in Australia late last year.
It has intuitive controls which include the CommandGrip control lever and the IntelliView touch screen which allows the driver to change and monitor tractor and implement functions from the one display.
Auto Command is New Holland's version of the continuously variable transmission which provides smooth speed and engine control.
The CVT is made at New Holland's transmission plant in Belgium.
The Power Command tractor has a powershift transmission.
There are five tractor models in the T7000 Auto Command series with engine powers of 124kW to 168kW.
The T7070 was named 2010 Tractor of the Year at last year's Agritechnica, in Germany, where it also won the Golden Tractor for Design award.
New Holland's T7060 Power Command won the same pair of awards at Agritechnica in 2007.
