THE Gillard Government will continue to fund support services for drought-affected families, with another $6.6 million allocated this year.
Family Support Drought Response Teams have assisted more than 13,500 families across the nation in the past 12 months.
The teams include social workers, psychologists and community welfare workers offering financial advice, counselling, relationship and family advice, crisis intervention and referrals to other government services.
