AN Alfoxton Merino ram sold for $46,000 on the final day of the Australian Sheep and Wool show at Bendigo today.
Chris and Ciondy Clonan’s Alfoxton Merino ram sold for a show record price to a syndicate that beat out a Uruguyan syndicate.

Last year the Clonan’s sold the best ram at the show for $23,000.
The line-up of rams averaged $2970, which was $200 better than last years’ average.
Wal Merriman sold 13 rams with the best ram making $14,000.
