GRAEME Davis, of Bayswater North, originally invented the Jackjaw to remove concrete formwork support pegs and prevent them from being driven fully into the ground.
Today, his patented design encompasses a choice of four different models.
These are designed for concreters and earthmoving businesses, farmers and fencing contractors, electric power supply authorities and a new option made for a leading hirer of marquees and tents.
Graeme said the Jackjaw helped operators avoid back sprains and injuries and took away the frustration that comes with trying to free a stubborn peg, stake or picket.
"It gives the user a 16-fold gain in leverage," Graeme said.
"Traditional products such as the popular steel star pickets can be readily removed and re-used, so the Jackjaw is popular with farmers and fencing contractors."
