Darryl and Margaret Christensen have managed the property for the past 34 years and have improved the property.
"We came on to the property when the owners bought it," Darryl said.
"We know it fairly well. We've done most of the development on it."
The impressive property offers a good balance of country, from creek flats to timbered grazing hills and soils of granite and shale origin.
Darryl described the property as "quite productive" with 30-40 per cent of improved country.
Fencing is mostly steel and in excellent condition.
Spring Creek is well set up and is easy to run as a one-man operation with the use of contractors occasionally.
"We're running about 400 (breeders) at the moment but it has a carrying capacity of about 650 breeders turning the progeny off as around 300kg weaners," Darryl said.
"We're quite conveniently close (to markets).
"The main market is at Wodonga but there's also good access to Wagga Wagga from the property."
Improvements at Spring Creek include a workshop, machinery shed, two haysheds, three sets of cattle yards and one set of sheep yards.
A spring-fed creek meanders through the property and is supplemented by 21 dams, delivering a good supply of water to the property. The annual rainfall average is 800mm.
There is a well-maintained homestead at Spring Creek which boasts three bedrooms and is surrounded by mature gardens.
