ABOUT 30 Gippsland farmers will discussing what they're doing to keep food and fibre production going this Monday.

Primary producers and other interested people will listen to three experts at the one-day Food, Farming and Health forum at Lardner Park near Warragul.

The speakers will be Prof Mark Lawrence from Deakin University, Prof Margaret Alston from Monash University and Dr Brad Ridoutt from CSIRO Sustainable Ecosystems.

Organisers say people at the forum will receive get important insights on keeping food on plates and integrity in landscapes.

There is a cost of $40 for the day's talks, notes, networking and lunch.
