BUYERS from a Japanese department store chain recently visited Victoria to better understand the history and origins of Geelong wool.
The delegation, from UNY & Co Ltd, was on a mission to verify the integrity of Geelong region wool and show their customers the origins of the raw product used in their popular knitwear range.
Product traceability is important to Japanese consumers and the range is proving to be popular.
