THE Deniliquin Ute Muster generated about $11 million of spending in Deniliquin and the surrounding region last year.
Even better, more than 25 community organisations are paid directly by the Deni Ute Muster for their services during the event.
These groups and clubs perform such vital roles as rubbish collection, manning gates, directing traffic, ticketing, bar service and security.
In total, more than $70,000 was paid to these organisations and a further $30,000 raised by individual groups themselves.
Local groups involved include Deniliquin Rotary, Apex, Kiwanis, P&C associations, car clubs, sporting clubs, Deniliquin Rescue Squad and the P&A Society.
Any other organisations interested in being part of festival operations are invited to phone general manager John Harvie on (03) 5881 3388.
