"It's a beautiful bit of country," the owner said.

"It runs 50 cows a year plus a few sheep without any hand feed.

"The steer calves are usually weaned at 400kg and sold for $800 a head in the December special sale.

"It's a good little block."

The property comprises mostly volcanic loam soils and has good shelter. There is about 1km of flat ground that the owner said would make a good airfield.

There is a good water supply with four dams and frontage to a small creek.

"There is a good set of cattleyards and good stock-proof fencing," the owner said.

"There is no house, it's a bare block but there are good building sites on it and town water is on the boundary."
