THE collapse of the Australian processed tomato industry could spell the end for Mooroopna's SPC Ardmona plant.
Coca-Cola Amatil's board is due to meet on Monday to consider the recommendations of a review into its food processor SPC Ardmona.

CCA managing director Terry Davis has declared the review will determine the "right size of the food business".
This right sizing is likely to deliver a major cut to the Mooroopna factory's workforce, or worse, its closure.
The plant sits on 18ha and it produces canned tomatoes, bulk-packed tomato pastes and crushed tomato products.
Mooroopna also produces fruit snack cups, which have performed well.
But the snack-cup lines could easily be shifted to the nearby Shepparton plant.
Mr Davis and the board must also "right size" the flagship Shepparton plant and determine what it does with the Kyabram factory. It appears CCA is preparing to bury the SPC Ardmona brand.
Last week, Coca-Cola Amatil dismantled the SPC Ardmona website.
