WEDDERBURN'S stellar second half of the season culminated in a thrilling nine-point grand final win over Wycheproof-Narraport.

But Jones returned on one leg and, with three goals in quick succession, inspired a third-quarter surge that cut the deficit to only 11 points at the last change.
Despite the Demons hitting the front midway through the final term, two goals to Wedderburn sealed a hard-fought win.
Redbacks ruckman Brett Strange was awarded one of two best on ground medals, with the other going to Jones, who finished with six goals.
