TEN American Red Angus breeders have paid $50,000 for interest shares in a bull bred by Tom Lawson of Yea.

Paringa Iron Ore was syndicated in the United States this week with a 50 per cent share of North American semen rights for US$50,000.

US breeders Leachman Cattle of Colorado, Bieber Red Angus, RA Brown Ranch, Lorenzen Ranches, Leland Red Angus, Hueftle Red Angus, Strawberry Ridge Red Angus, Rhodes Red Angus, Sonstegard Cattle Co and TJS Red Angus all have 5 per cent interest shares in the bull.

Mr Lawson said Paringa Iron Ore E27 was a unique bull with super calving, growth, muscle and marbling.

"His daughters calving prediction ranks him at the top of the Angus breed," Mr Lawson said.

"His breedplan EBVs along with his actual data and first calves on the ground make him stand out sire prospect.

"His first calves are consistently small at birth and vigorous with style and presence.

"We are excited that leading cattle programs from the US have recognised the value in our breeding program."
