IT WAS win-win for Melissa Froesch at the Lang Lang Show on the weekend.

The Broadford rider made hay in the warm summer weather, winning the Bendigo Bank A and B Grade Championship and Sunday's Ponderosa Timber and Hardware Grand Prix riding her homebred Glenara Bollinger.

Froesch also won the Col Wareing Fencing D Grade Championship riding Glenara Mudslide.

The annual show opened with Friday's Interschool jumping, Molly Barry, from Kardella, riding Jumping Jack to win the Champion Stars section.

Advanced champion was Izzy Walsh, from Balnarring, riding Kris Kringle, and Amy Laing from Red Hill, rode Felix to win the Intermediate Championship.

Brooke Wheeler, from Hill End, on Parklands Tiger Lily, won the Progressive Championship, and Leongatha's Ailkira Riley, on GL Golden Ash, won the Improvers Championship.

Mt Eliza's Maddie McComb won the Freshmans Championship, riding BP Majestic.

Saturday and Sunday saw the senior showjumping on the main arena, which was perfectly prepared by the Port Phillip Showjumping Club committee.

Kelly Lees, from Wodonga, won the 1.25m class on Ohio Silver, and Greg Smith, from Tynong North, won the Station Street Vet Clinic 1.20m Championship riding Higgs Can Fly .

Cranbourne South rider Ella Griffiths won the Station Street Vet Clinic 90cm class, on Mr Roly Royce.

Courtney Shears, from Sale, won the junior championship and the Holden C and D grade championship, on Kijimakala, while Dromana's Laura Darval won the Col Wareing Fencing Maiden D Grade riding Ringo.

Saturday saw the hack arenas in full swing, with Ashlee Howard-Harrison winning the champion show hunter on her grey Australian stock horse, Roseridge Dennis.

Local Linda Hayes won the champion large pony with Kolbeach Promise, and the Oakford and Reeve family's Milbrae Kenya was the supreme champion led Shetland pony.

Daryl Hayes won two galloway championships riding Wesswood Royal Castle and Holly's Galaxy.

Dazi Plumb, from Cardinia, won a small pony championship and was declared the champion junior rider, aboard Royal Secret.

Local Alex Berwick and her hack DP Prayer won a hack championship, and Sarah Maley won a show hunter pony championship riding Lykanarro Roge.

Jessica Laughlan, from the Hastings Pony Club, was the champion senior pony club rider.

Daisy McDonald, from the Pearcedale Pony Club, won the best pony club mount championship, riding Ripple.

Olivia East won a large pony championship riding Beckworth Winsome and James Moloney won the under-18 years rider championship plus two show hunter reserve championships riding Primrose Park Red Fox.
