Injemira Beef Genetics, at Wagga Wagga, NSW, is offering the bull in conjunction with Herefords Australia.
Injemira principal Marc Greening said the competition was a great opportunity to promote the whiteface breed.
He said commercial producers should seriously look at whiteface cattle.
"Whiteface bulls improve the temperament of the female herd, and can be used over Angus females to produce the highly sought after black baldy offspring," he said.
The winner will be announced at the Injemira bull sale on Thursday, February 23.
The September 2010-drop bull is by Injemira's power sire Aberdeen B012, which sold to Jarrah Cattle Company, Rockhampton, for a 2008 nation-wide high of $45,000.
