THE Seymour Alternative Farming Expo is celebrating its 21st birthday with 500 exhibitors expected.
Each year, the expo focuses on advances in alternative livestock, cropping enterprises, small to medium farm machinery, implements and building systems.
This year’s line-up includes displays by a blacksmith, renovators of recycled products, rustic garden art and bush furniture.
Livestock exhibits include about 15 cattle breeds with an emphasis on those suited for the smaller farms, plus sheep, goats, alpacas and chooks.
