BRACE yourself football fans, for the best of the AFL are coming to a ground near you.

Nine of the 10 Victorian AFL clubs will visit rural cities and towns in every corner of the state in the coming weeks for the annual Australia Post AFL Community Camps

While Hawthorn heads interstate to Tasmania, regional Victorian centres including: Ballarat, Wangaratta, Swan Hill, Maryborough, Bairnsdale, Wonthaggi, Mildura and Kyabram will all host an AFL club.

VCFL communications manager Jock Allan said the community camps, which will see players from the respective clubs visit schools, hold clinics and attend community events, allowed rural supporters an opportunity to interact with AFL stars.

"The camps are great for building the profile of AFL football in country areas and in the past we have got great feedback from players and local communities alike," Allan said.
