PUTTING some cash back in farmers' pockets, Case IH is offering a $1500 Visa gift card with every Maxxfarm tractor sold before April.

"The Maxxfarm tractor range is ideally suited to small farms, horticulture, plantation and orchard crop production because of its compact size, excellent manoeuvrability and surprising power," Case IH product manager Julie Rippey said.

"Purchasing a new Maxxfarm now means farmers can start the year with a versatile, cost-effective workhorse and use the $1500 Visa gift card to treat themselves."

The Maxxfarm range includes six models powered by quiet and fuel-efficient diesel engines ranging from the 17kW Maxxfarm 25 to the 45.5kW Maxxfarm 60.

The range is operator-friendly, according to Case IH.

Benefits include a convenient forward-reverse shuttle lever control placed to the left, keeping the right hand free to operate other controls.

The Maxxfarm 35 and 50 are available with either a synchro shuttle or hydrostatic transmission for effortless speed changes from stationary up to 27km/h. The Maxxfarm 25 and 30 are fitted standard with a hydrostatic transmission.

"These tractors come with features you'd usually expect in a large tractor, like a tight 55-degree turning angle, high ground clearance of up to 407 mm and excellent all-round visibility," Julie said.

"The Quick-Attach linkage on the Maxxfarm 60 makes for easy hitching of implements and most models feature two rear remote valves for hydraulic implements, a real bonus on tractors in this size range," she said.

"The main hydraulic pump and steering pump are separate, so the machines can cope with heavy loads, and the high-capacity hitch can handle up to 1.75 tonnes on the Maxxfarm 60."

The Maxxfarm's electro-hydraulic PTO provides up to 35kW of PTO power directly from the flywheel, so you won't lose power along the powertrain. Electronic switches on the dashboard make it easy to engage and disengage implement power.

Accessories include the Maxx-Lift loader, built specifically for the Maxxfarm tractors, along with a 152cm mower deck for the Maxxfarm 25 and 30 models, and a 182cm mower deck for the Maxxfarm 35.
