LONGWARRY Food Park has announced its second milk price step-up for the 2011/12 season.
In a statement managing director Rakesh Aggarwal said butterfat would increase 7c/kg and protein would rise 17c/kg.
The increases bring the price to date to 14c/kg for butterfat and 34c/kg for protein.
Mr Aggarwal said the step-up was effective from January 1 and would be retrospectively paid on premium and base quality milk from July 1 to December 31, 2011.
The payment is due February 15.
