DAIRY online discussion service Ausdairy-L has signed up its 600th email address.
Evolving from Vicdairy-L, a chat line established in 1999 by GippsDairy and Melbourne University, Ausdairy-L began in 2007 and has generated thousands of messages.
Users are mostly dairy farmers, but include others involved with dairying, including researchers, consultants and service providers.

Levy vote on agenda
THE Dairy Australia levy vote will be on the agenda in Leongatha next week.
The Young Dairy Development Program will host the evening at Bairs Hotel on Tuesday and will include presentations from GippsDairy executive officer Danielle Auldist, Ross Bawden from Dairy Australia and United Dairyfarmers' of Victoria vice-president Ron Paynter.
