SPECIALIST liquid cart manufacturer Liquid Systems has announced new models for this year.

The modular carts are made to handle multiple liquid requirements to furrow-inject liquid fertiliser, trace elements, inoculants, fungicides, soil wetters and other fluid products at seeding time.

Manufactured in tow-between and tow-behind configurations, the carts start at 5000 litres capacity and also can be custom-made to suit specific requirements, with sizes up to 15,000 litres available.

There are two- and four-wheel steer options and a range of colours to match existing seeding systems. Baffled tanks are standard as is a 600-litre flush tank and 600-litre spiker tank.

Various mountings are available to suit a variety of seeder bars and there is a staircase for access to the operator platform. The tanks can be filled from ground level if needed.

Liquid Systems carts offer a complete all-in-one liquid solution, removing the need to piece components together.

According to the company, farmers have had limited options in this segment of the industry.

With the introduction of variable rate application combined with fungicide, inoculant, trace element and surfactant furrow injection, a whole new approach to the design and capabilities of liquid carts was needed.

Australia leads the world in precision in-furrow injection of multiple liquid products since the process began about a decade ago.

The new range of liquid carts includes combinations to meet the requirements of any farmer.

Typical set-ups include banding the liquid with the Liquid Systems a-i auto-rate injection module and a standard metering system with stainless steel director tubes.

Other farmers are also attaching spray bars to their seeding rigs to allow the application of trifluralin and in-furrow-injecting fertiliser or fungicides in one pass.

The company manufactures units from entry-level small capacity machines to extreme set-ups. Pumps and control modules can be fitted to existing seeders for full liquid injection capacity.

Custom-built and branded liquid injection systems are tailored to the specific requirements of the carts and tillage bars to which they will be fitted.

The company has worked with brands including John Deere, Horwood Bagshaw, Vaderstad Seed Hawk, Gyral, Gason and Morris.

Liquid Systems also has enhanced the Stacker Distribution System range offering manifold configurations for both planters and air seeders, single and dual systems.

Terminal configurations are available for low and high-rate applications for air seeders and planters, and section control configurations are also available for Topcon and Greenstar controllers, which further adds to efficiency.

Stacker Distribution System complement the company's pump and control modules providing precise and even distribution to the furrow of any liquid product on the market today.

A pressure-based system, Stacker gives the best control when injecting liquid into the furrow.
