Canada interest
A SOUTH Australian Limousin stud had Canadian interest in its sale last month. Maryvale sold a 17-month-old, poll Black Limousin to a Canadian partnership for $12,000.
Of the 30 bulls offered, 28 sold for an average of $4098, while eight females averaged $3813.
Promising sales
BULL sale season has kicked off, with early sales posting good results.
Yerwal Estate at Lucindale, in South Australia, sold 16 Simmentals to $6250 for an average of $3458, and 34 Angus to $8000 , average $3954. Waterfront Simmentals at Tintinara, in SA, sold 25 Simmental bulls to $8500, average $4750, while a lineup of four composite bulls sold to $4000, averaging $3375.
