TWO Victorians have been killed in separate road accidents yesterday when cars hit trees.

A Heywood woman died in a single vehicle accident on the Glenelg Highway near Lake Bolac about 10am yesterday.

The 35-year-old's car struck a tree.

The second accident claimed the life of a Woorinen man aged in his 30s sometime after 1pm.

The car left Chillingolah Rd, Pira, north-west of Swan Hill sometime after 1pm and hit a tree.

Police are preparing reports for the coroner on both accidents.
