ANOTHER large Riverina property is believed to have been sold to the Bell Financial Group.
North Cobran, a 14,000ha grazing property just north of Hay, sold in the past week, agents said.
Details of the sale are still sketchy as formal contracts are yet to be exchanged.
Sale price is believed to be close to the $4.2 million sought by owner Peter Salvestro.
Sources said the Bell group, already owners of the famous Riverina Merino studs - Wanganella, and Boonoke, will be the new owners.
North Cobran adjoins the iconic Uardry Merino stud, home of the famous Shilling ram, which remains on the market.
Uardry occupies 34,618ha, including 32km of Murrumbidgee River frontage, and was offered for sale by tender last year.
Selling agents said there had been a "considerable amount of interest'' in the property "but nothing concrete'' in terms of a formal offer.
Weekly Times Now is seeking comment from the Bell group about the Riverina land sales.
