NORTH East vealer producers were among the top price buyers of Limousin bulls at the Le Martres sale.
Hosted on-property at Albury by the Martin family, the sale had been rescheduled from March 2 due to flooding.
Bulls were sold via video auction on large screen monitors for the first time.
Of the 44 bulls offered, 20 were sold to an average of $3750, gross of $75,000 and a top price of $4500 three times.
Le Martres Fraser, a polled son of herd sire Le Martres Daley sold to new clients and vealer producers Stuart and Janet Morant, Tallangatta Valley.
The couple also bought another polled bull, Le Martres Ferrari, a son of Le Martres Black Walsmly, for $4500.
Le Martres Black Farrah, a polled son of Le Martres Daley, sold to repeat clients Ray and Neville Blewett of Mudgegonga.
