AUSTRALIA'S dairy farmers will know tomorrow the size of the levy they will pay for the next five years.
National industry services body Dairy Australia, through Computershare, is polling the country's milk producers on a new levy rate.
Dairy farmers currently pay a 0.32 cents a litre milk levy. They have been asked to choose either a zero levy, or an increase of 10 per cent or 15 per cent.
The ballot for Dairy Poll 2012 closed last Friday but a Dairy Australia spokeswoman said the result will not be known until tomorrow.
The result of the poll cannot be released until a report from returning officer Ernst and Young is received tomorrow, she said.
